Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Resistance to azt is created because of natural selection: Macroevolution is the sum of all the mechanisms of change (mutation, gene flow, genetic drift, and natural selection) from the past 3.8 billion years. All living species are related and essentially descendants of each other.
