North East Link Project Map

Simpler interchanges at lower plenty road and manningham road. We are liaising with the north east link project (nelp) authority and the state government on all aspects of the project, including sports and recreation improvements, tree revegetation plans and traffic management outcomes amongst many other opportunities and impacts. Tolls will be applied to the primary package section of the road.

The north east link tunnels will take the longest to build, so we’re starting with these first.

The north east link project will reduce travel times between melbourne’s northern and southern areas by 30 minutes. The project includes victoria’s longest twin road tunnel, melbourne’s first. North east link provides a new freeway standard connection between the m80 ring road and an upgraded eastern freeway, completing the missing link in melbourne’s metropolitan ring road.
